An exhibitor service kit will be sent to you by Brede Exposition Services after receipt of your exhibitor registration form and payment to MDLA. This kit includes information on ordering additional items, as well as electricity, for your booth.

Assignment of Space

MDLA will make final assignments of booth space with consideration for each exhibitor's needs, and the date exhibit confirmation/payment is received. There is a place on the exhibitor registration form to note your preferences. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. Booth numbers will not be assigned - booths will be identified only by company name.

Security

Security is not provided by MDLA, however, exhibit hall doors will be locked from 5:00 pm on Friday, March 16 until 8:00 am on Saturday, March 17.

Eligibility to Exhibit

This exhibit is designed for the display and demonstration of products and services relating to the practice and advancement of the art, science and business of the dental technology industry, and the professional education of the members of the MDLA. Only companies exhibiting products and services related to this mission will be permitted to exhibit. This exhibit may not be used to solicit employees. The association reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit or part thereof that, in its opinion, is not in keeping with the character and/or spirit of the MDLA Northland Exhibition.

Independent Events

Except to hold entertainment or social functions, exhibitors must confine their activities to their allotted exhibit space. No entertainment functions, meetings, courses, or social functions may be scheduled to conflict with MDLA Northland Exhibition program hours, activity hours or exhibit hours. Entertainment and social functions must be in good taste and conform to the purpose of the meeting. The Association should be notified in writing of any special activities (whether entertainment, educational, or promotional in nature) planned by an exhibiting company for the period Friday, March 16, 2012 through Saturday, March 17, 2012. Announcements and invitations addressed to MDLA members and Northland attendees concerning such industry-sponsored events should clearly indicate the name(s) of the sponsor and must in no manner imply directly or indirectly that the event is a part of, or an official activity of the Association.

Shipping Information

The exhibitor kit from Brede Exposition Services will include shipping information. Brede will receive, store, and deliver your packages directly to your booth, and will be on-site Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm. to assist in return shipments if necessary. Please send shipments to Treasure Island Resort and Casino with "MDLA Northland Exhibition, March 16, 2012" marked on the label, as well as your name and company name. Shipments may only arrive 2-3 days prior to March 16.

Cancellation Policy

Written notice to cancel must be received via fax, mail, or email by February 15, 2012 to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given after this date. If MDLA cannot hold the conference due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation, or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each exhibitor will receive a copy of any conference materials that would have been distributed. Fixed exhibitor session expenses will be paid from the exhibitor registration funds. Remaining funds will be refunded to exhibitors. MDLA is not responsible for any other costs incurred by exhibitors in connection with the conference.

Liability

The exhibitor acknowledges that the Midwest Dental Laboratory Association shall not be obligated to maintain property, liability, or business interruption insurance covering the exhibitor. It is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance and the exhibitor must do so at his/her own expense.

Exhibitors are expressly bound, at their expense, to pay for or repair any and all damage to the exhibit facility where the Northland Exhibition is being held, booth equipment, or the property of others caused by the exhibitor or any of its employees, agents, contractors, or representatives.

The exhibitor agrees to assume all risks of loss, injury, theft or damage of any kind or nature whatsoever to any exhibit or component thereof, including any goods, merchandise, papers, and business records or other property which may be in or come into the exhibitor's possession during the course of the Exhibition, or in the course of assembling or disassembling the exhibit and to assume all liability for damage to any person arising from the movement and operation of the exhibit and hereby releases MDLA, its contractors, and the owners and managers of the exhibit facility from any liability whatsoever in respect thereto.

Lodging

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at Treasure Island Resort and Casino with a special room rate of $79 single or double occupancy for 3/15/12, $100 for 3/16/12 and $119 good through February 22, 2012. Please contact Treasure Island directly at 1-800-222-7077 and dial 0, or ask for for group reservations and give them the group name of Midwest Dental Laboratory.
